Gave estimate to replace heater.
Upon arrival greeted customers daughter. Informed me unit quit cooling around Thursday. Set thermostat to cool and checked filter. Filter extremely clogged so I removed it and informed customer it needed to be replaced. Went to air handler and found amp draws on blow motor are normal however the run capacitor is getting weak. Also, no safety switches are present. Went to outdoor unit and compressor was humming but outdoor fan was not running. Checked amp draw to find minimal amp draw. Capacitor and contactor are working as they should and power is being supplied to fan. Explained that I could not check pressures yet until fan was running so may have further issues but we have to start at the fan. Replaced faulty condenser fan motor and it is working properly however refrigerant pressures ended up being low and causing it to go out on low pressure. Gave customer options to add refrigerant and do leak search. She chose to just add refrigerant at this time. Advised her that there is no g
I arrived on site and greeted customer. I looked at her thermostat and system. I found the air handler in the attic did not have a pan or drain safety. I quoted and installed both safety’s in the pan and drain. I then checked the heater kit and outdoor unit. I checked electrical components and Freon charge. I checked capacitor Contactor compressor and fans. The system is an 07 and could use updating.
For this job, I was called out for a possible leak. After investigating the area it was determined that there definitely was a leak. I crawled the crawl space to ensure that there were not any leaks under the home that would be causing the flooding in the yard. After further investigation I came to the conclusion the leak was coming from a pipe in the yard. After digging up the pipe it was pretty clear where the leak was. There was a pin hole leak coming from a copper water line in 2 spots. I cut both leaks out and repaired them using pex. After the repair no leaks were found. Water pressure tested about 50 psi.
Customer stated disposal was stoped up. I took the p-trap loose to inspect the pipe and the was food and build up in the p-trap. After cleaning the trap I tested the disposal and drains and everything is working properly. Customer would also like one of our service techs come out to give a price on a new faucet due to the one she has now, the neck is not long enough to reach the other compartment I took pictures of the faucet and sink to give an idea of what the next guy will be coming to look at. She would like a faucet with the sprayer neck.

For this job, I was called out for issues regarding the water heater. I moved to rebuild the entirety of the heater. After replacing both upper and lower thermostats and elements it kicked on and is heating. The issue that caused the old ones to fail was that the temperature fluctuated from the upper and lower thermostat causing it to short. I set the thermostats properly and the problem should no longer continue. I also added an expansion tank due to the heater not having one. The water heater is now up to code.
Apon arrival found condenser running but compressor is not pumping system is almost out of Freon found coil in the air handler almost completely rusted out waiting on call back from hues on quote on compressor and coil or if there even available due to age of the system customer also wants a quote on replacing the system
For this job, we replaced customers kitchen faucet and garbage disposal with a customer provided option for both. Garbage disposal and new faucet are both operable at this time and no leaks have been for us. Customer is now a member with us as well.
Customer had stated the toilet was gurgling/backing up. One of the employees showed me where the toilet was and described what was going on with the toilet. I took toughly 20 minutes to flush the toilet and putting toilet paper to see if there was something in the line that maybe was causing toilet paper to get stuck on after flushing. I did not notice anything out of the ordinary with the toilet. The toilet is flushing like it should and the main line is flowing like it should.
I arrived on site and greeted customer. I inspected the installation and operation of the gas fireplace. There is no issue with location or ventilation. I referred to the installation manual for the fire place for any issue and found none. I found no code violations with the install. The only thing I recommend in my professional opinion is that the home owner install a carbon monoxide detector in the home.
Replace 50 gallon electric tall water heater , install 3/4 pressure reducing valve at meter, new expansion tank, new cut off valve at water heater .
Gave two estimates, one to replace the anode rod in a 2006 electric water heater with no warranty. One to remove old heater and install 2 50 gal electric heaters (this option would require an electrician to install a shut off for second heater and would come with a 6 year parts warranty) a third estimate will be coming from Bob concerning a second option for replacement of the heater.
