For this job we had to order the tub and shower kit. I came out Friday of last week to diagnose the shower and I had to identify the right stems and rebuild kit. It is a speakman three handle tub and shower valve. I replaced all three stems and all three seats. Tested the system and everything works perfectly showed the customer.
I arrived on site and greeted customer. I went to the attic and did a visual inspection of all the ductwork and found we will have to cut an access hole in the ceiling to run new ductwork for his dining room. I then looked at his cooling issue and found that the TXV metering device has failed. The safety’s were all in place for the furnace and customer advised me there hasn’t been any issue heating. UNIT IS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY

The system is heating properly now. I then educated Mr. Michael on how to operate his new thermostat.
This job was kind of a tricky one. Removed the diverted stem from the three handle tub and shower valve and trying to identify was the hardest part. Checked his other shower out for leaks but found nothing.
