Grease Trap Pumping & Installation

Reliable Grease Trap Pumping

Ricky Heath Plumbing specializes in grease trap pumping and cleaning for Middle Georgia restaurants. It doesn’t matter what type of grease trap your restaurant has – indoor or outdoor, we can clean it and pump it. Our specialty trucks are designed to pump grease traps of all sizes. We even have a truck designed to reach grease traps in tight spaces. Plus, we don’t simply pump your grease trap – we clean it thoroughly! Our crews will manually scrape residue and grease off the side of the grease trap, doing their best to make sure every last drop of grease is removed.

How Often Should Restaurant Grease Traps Be Cleaned?

Typically, grease traps need to be pumped and cleaned every 30 days to every 4 months, depending on the cleaning schedule determined for your restaurant by the Macon Water Authority (MWA) or another local water system. Cleaning and pumping frequency also depends on the size of the trap and what type of food is being cooked. It’s important to keep up with the pumping and cleaning schedule, as the MWA requires regular maintenance and inspects traps at least once per quarter. We will give you a call when it’s time to pump your grease trap again, keeping you on schedule and compliant with MWA and other local government regulations.
