Service call for pipe repair. Utilized leak detection methods to pinpoint the source of the issue. Replaced the damaged section of the pipe, ensuring a secure and durable fix to prevent further water damage and restore proper water flow.
Attempted to get customer some hot water today by replacing heater nipples, no luck as tank itself has ruptured due to age. The director(big boss) was onsite today and was asking about the mixing valve, he is also wanting to fix some leaks at the other heater. Informed him that repairing those leaks are included in the quote. Need to resend mixing valve quote, verified through Ferguson material cost quote is still valid. And need to send new quote for replacing water heater.
For this job we searched for a water leak. We were unable to find an active leak other than the sprayer on the 3 compartment sink. I recommend getting that replaced and if they are still showing for a leak we need to come back out to do a more in depth search. We were advised we cannot turn the water off during hours of operation (4:30 am-11pm).
Isolate boiler and drain down system to make 2 repairs on line leaking overhead in hallway.
Diagnosed leak overhead in hallway. This line is the feed from boiler. Boiler will have to be isolated and the system drained down to make necessary repairs.
Diagnosed 2” gate valve and 1 1/2” mixing valve. Materials have a week to 2 week lead time.
Change order to account for additional depth for grease trap and added one grease trap riser. There also additional issues due to water being used during the excavation
Abandon existing main gas supply line to nursing home and reroute overhead.
Helped chit and dig also had top go back and get jetter and jet and will have to again i informed them that if we had to do this is wasn’t in the price and it got to late to contact any one
